Ok so at the beginning phrases like "die Ginny die! *stab stab stab!*" were going through my head and then the smile started unfurling on my face and YES! Your crafted their relationship perfectly and by 'their' I meant the Dean/Seamus aspect as well as the Dean/Ginny because I always did imagine Dean as a gentleman.

It was a simple thing, really. Just a comment to Luna, accidentally-on-purpose in front of Parvati and Lavender, and the entire school knew.

Urgh that had me seething that did! I love the way you construct sentences, their fluidity and meaning and oh you're a gorgeous writer. *luffz*

Thanks so much!!! I actually like Ginny a fair amount, an unpopular opinion in fandom, I think. I just see her as making a very large mistake and wanting to correct it if she could. She acted just as a young girl would and it backfired on her.

She's smart and crafty but she needs to work on it some.

♥ back atcha :)

Me, again! - I'm reading this at work and re-reading it, because I think with this fic you've captured why I love Deamn and Seamus. It doesn't matter if someone (Ginny) comes between them, they are going to be together in the end, no matter what. I think you managed to do that with GInny, she could see how at ease they are with each other and wanted that again, even though when she had been with Dean it wasn't quite the same.

p.s. Even though my slashfest pairing was Seamus/Theodore... I kept strugling to get my head around Seamus not being with Dean, which was damn hard. So, I wrote myself a little backstory, and now I'm going to write a sequel where Dean realises the mistakes he's made and tries to make everything right. S/T is a good dynamic, but it's not S/D which is just right in a canon sort of way

Yes, exactly! They're friends that do that slide into lovers. In a way, it's harder to write because of that closeness. There's a fine line between love and hate but I think there's a thicker line between love and love, in a way.

You've gotten it with how I see Ginny in this. She yearns for closeness, just like anyone would.

YAYES!!!!! I'm looking forward to that extension!!!!!! I'm not so fond of the Seamus/Theodore pairing, actually, but for you, I'll give it a try :).

I love you too. I'm just really really glad you liked this. It's quite a relief as this isn't my usual writing style but your request just cried out for this from the beginning. Add much wibbling about how different from my norm it is and two wonderful betas and this comes about!

*gropes inappropriately*

This did feel totally different. But so much more me than your usual fare. I do like it.

This is exactly why I don't like Ginny but love the wook!

I actually do like Ginny but I can see why she would react this way.

Love you too!

It's easy to see how a teenaged girl would make this kind of mistake. I think your portrayal of Ginny is very honest, and I'm sad for Dean and Seamus.

Yes, I can totally see it happening. I like Ginny, actually (I'm sure a very unpopular opinion for a H/D shipper but... there it is). She just made a mistake and acted just as she thought right and it backfired on her.

Thanks so much!!!!
