Weekend in Manhattan
Spent Saturday with Jake and Tom and then Sunday on my own.
Fun on the High Line. Later, meeting friends at the Eagle
a Time Square kiss as i put Jake on the subway home.
Hanging around Times Square. The visitor center has a replica of the Big Ball plus a nice history of the area...for FREE!
i got up early and hit the box office first thing and scored tix to Spiderman for only $39. i figured it would never tour, so i'd see what the hoopla was about. It was ok - some of the audience were overly familiar with the material - but not the spectacular i was expecting.
i'd gotten to Rockbar far too early, but my patience paid off as i made a new friend.
Monday morning was nice and early as usual. Taking the train was quite nice, i must say. Comfortable, smooth, electricity and wi-fi. i'm sold. Eventually, i made it to Philly, took the SEPTA to the airport, scored my rental and off to work. i miss my Kiwi.
