A Quick Drink
Good, but busy day and got out a little late. So the crosstown traffic in the rain was a bit of a bitch. The damn ez-Pass transponder didn't trip one of the toll gates. The toll booth attendant came over. Asked to see my transponder, waved it close to the sensor then smacked it against the sensor which seemed to do the trick. "Just gotta wake 'em up sometimes," he said. Got to the SkyClub with barely enough time for two cocktails and to throw together yesterday's lame-o LJ post. Much like this one. Then the rain kept us sitting in line waiting for take-off.
The pic above was a quicky phone grab that i used for my instagram. Later, i brought it into PS, copied and pasted myself and then took the whole background and ran it through a neon glow (or bright edges or something) then dropped the regular back on the top and then made it a little transparent. Gives it kind of a comic book look, eh?
When i got home, SIR picked me up and we met everyone at the bar for Jason (of Jason and Dustin)'s birthday! We're going to take them to Florence + The Machine (i got 6 tix from the AMEX presale). Cuddly Chad was actually wearing a collared shirt! Usually he's in tshirts, but saw this on sale and he looks so damn cute in it. As if he could get any cuter.
The latest Three Olives vodka flavor is "Froot Loops". Yeah. And it tastes just like Froot Loops! i was never a fan of Froot Loops, but Matt loved it.
