Lazy Sundays
Sunday morning was a bit off-kilter. We skipped breakfast in Soulard and went to this little greek place we like. Afterwards, we wanted to go by Pearle Vision get these new glasses checked out, but they didn't open until noon. So we stopped by Bed Bath & Beyond to try and find a firmer pillow for Matt. A good pillow really is hard to find. When Pearle opened, we stopped in. They checked and claimed that the perscription was written down correctly and that the glasses fit that script. Now i have to wait until 10 FEB to get into my eye doctor for a double-check.
We had a couple hours in the afternoon. The pups were feeling like being lazy and lounged around on the bed we put in the kitchen for while we're away. Matt did a quick touch-up on his hair. He's got light blond hair anyway, so you hardly notice the grey. But when he was done, you kinda go "oh yeah".
In the early evening, we went to the Bears Member Appreciation Party to thank us for all the volunteering we do during the year in our fund-raising efforts. We brought in a lot of money for our charities last year and look forward to even more this year. It's a good thing.
