What's A Pool Without Speedos?
After Pearl, we drove up the road and found a chinese place where the locals ate. It was up by a Foodland and it was very popular...we obviously stuck out as tourists...and caucasions. Matt loved his food. i tried...i really tried...then went to the Pizza Hut around the corner. On the way home, we got a little rain. i didn't care...it was nice and warm. i love the rain here.
We came back and cooled off by the pool. Matt went upstairs for a bit and i hung out and fiddled with the underwater camera.
i'd gone back upstairs when Matt called me: "Speedos are on sale at Macy's!" i had to heed the call.
After that, we wandered around, found the local "family" bar, bought some "aloha shirts" and then watched a flag lowering ceremony at a quaint little shopping village.
We checked out the Moana Surfrider - a Westin - as a possible destination for our next trip, then back to the beach and home.
