i'm enjoying the time off i've had. i got to have lunch with an old friend that i hadn't had a chance to catch up with in a long time. Though we ostensibly live in the same city, our schedules and such have kept us apart. We need to change that.
i stopped by Randall's to get some Three Olive's "Purple". The vast range of flavored vodka is rather overwhelming. The kids are still trying to push things...they want to be treated as the royalty they are. LOL.
Matt got an early holiday surprise when the camera shop called and said that his wide-angle lens that he'd busted was back early and fixed cheaper than expected. He was devistated when he knocked it off and broke it and the fact that a new one would be close to $800 and a used one over 6 - if you could find one! Simple pleasures and that look of joy on his face: priceless!
In the evening, we went and hung out with our friends at JJ's. In my opinion, the night before Thanksgiving is my favorite night of the year. The happy vibe is amazing and for a few hours we don't have a care in the world.
