Saturday morning was the first morning i had to do my own glucose test. It wasn't as horific as i had feared. i'm to test twice a week so i've decided on an every three day schedule so that i'm no doing the same two days and getting a better range. At least that's my reckoning. We'll see...
We headed out. i needed something to eat and we saw a small real-estate-sized sign that said "Kiwanis Pancake Breakfast". All we needed to know. At least they had sugar-free syrup.
We went down to Schiller's Camera. They were having their twice-annual camera buy and Matt had gathered up all the old camera equipment that had been languishing in the basement for who-knows-how-long. Fortunately, he threw in his Canon Rebel that i'd spent way too much on when he started in real estate. It had been acting up since he dropped it and kablooey'd the wide angle a couple of Fridays ago. So for about the price of fixing it, we'd gotten a new one. For the price of fixing it...

It was a little on the windy side, but it was still kinda warm so Matt decided it was time to put up the xmas lights. Since i'm a hundred pounds fatter than back when we moved in here, Matt doesn't like it when i'm 20-feet up on a ladder, so we asked one of our friends to come help us. Mikey could use 40 bucks anyway. Sure he woulda done it for nothing, but it's good to help where we can.
i'd thought about going out that night, but i was still having issues with my sinuses. So i stayed in. i stayed in.
