Matt volunteered to help out the old folks next door by driving their UHaul and car trailer to Texas. We loaded them up on Sat and they took off. It was weird seeing Matt leave and me staying with the kids.
With Matt gone, it was just me and the pups...and work. Always work...but even more so these days.
Fortunately, cublet Phil convinced me to come see his closing night performance of Puccini's "Turandot" at the Union Avenue Opera. It was really good and i got a really close seat which was - quite coincidentally - right in front of where Phil was performing.
It was really good, though the tenor - while a great singer - was a lousy actor who just stood around looking haughty. But it got to me and i really wanted to see that bitch Turandot get a dagger up the clitoris at dawn. LOL!!
Afterwards, stopped off to see some of the gang at JJ's. i'd worn my singlet under my opera duds so i just stripped in the parking lot. It was a blacklight party which is always fun. Met up with SIR for a bit, then had to go home and look after the squeeky toys. They'd been locked up for 5 hours, and really needed to go.
