Corporate Comradery

i got up and started getting ready for work and then realized that my shirt and tie were terribly wrinkled. i looked around the room and couldn't find an iron. Maybe hipsters don't use irons; their wrinkles are 'ironic'. i didn't have time to go get one at the front desk, so there it went. What a mess. The day went ok and in the evening there were two "recognition" events. The first was put on by the client out on the patio by the office. It was 102 degrees, an insane heat record in Minneapolis. On top of that, it was really windy. What a mess. After that, i got changed into something more casual and headed out to the next event put on my the BACC on the shores of Lake Minnetonka.

This event was a little nicer. The sun was going down so it took the edge off the heat. The water was nice and we went for a tour boat ride. Most were stuffed out front or on the upper deck. They could have come dance, but there would be opportunity for that later, though i doubt anyone took advantage of that but rather spent the rest of the evening out on the shore in the warm summer air. Even if it's not summer. Yet.
