We went to see Mikey for breakfast at the Soulard Coffee Garden, our newest fave Sunday breakfast place. It's nice to notoriously overtip for our friends who can really use it. We were going to go from there to the Chase to see "The King's Speech", but Matt just wasn't feeling good, so we went back to the house. Matt took a little nap and i watched "BearCity" which was amateurish and hit every stereotype, but the couple trying to open up their relationship was kinda cute.
Matt couldn't rest and so we went to the U-City loop to see the remnants of the Ice Festival which we thought was a two-day affair. But it looks like it was just one company that went and did ice sculptures in the shape of logos for all the businesses along the Loop. Boring.
We passed this window and Matt noticed the bear's eyes. He said, "This has got to be the saddest bear in the world." He was right. "you can feel your way...you've been down this road before...you can do this...in your sleep"
Matt still wasn't feeling well. He didn't even want to play CoD with the gang. So i went up the hill and got the best medicine...Moose Tracks ice cream...covered with Hershey sauce.
