The Cellphone Lot
Yesterday was nice and slow. i think after the past few weeks, we ALL needed a slow day. We went to CostCo and Schnucks, but didn't get anything exciting. Puttered around the house on stuff. Robert was flying back from Seattle and Steve was going to pick Him up, but had gotten whatever Robert had last week so he was out for the count. No matter, it was a nice break to the day and good to see Him again. We hardly touched base with each other last weekend since we were all so busy running around and putting on a good run.
Speaking of which, everyone seemed to have a really good time and i want to thank everyone for coming. It was great to finally meet Jeff/churchbear and to finally get to spend some special time with Marvin/ursusnoir and Adam/orious and i wished there was more time, but you know how it is. We wore our run shirts out and Matt even came out with me and we hung with the Jasons, Jim & Randy, Tim and some of the gang. i'm really rather pleased with how my design for the shirts turned out this year. It's a run shirt that you'd actually want to wear after the run is over which you can't say for a lot of run shirts. Robert was supposed to be out, but fell asleep (though i can't blame Him). As it turns out, He was on His way to the bar while we were on our way home. Bears in the night...
