We were home by the time it was announced at the top of the hour and i waited patiently for over an hour to hear that speech. In spite of all the ugliness i've seen, i still have hope. And in spite of the ugliness that was Prop 8 out in California and similar measures elsewhere - we lost ours in Missouri 8 years ago - i still have hope. Yes we can and yes we will. One day. Time to get to work.
