We Had Kawfee And Tawked
i flew into MSP early yesterday morning - a big THANK YOU to my wonderful hubby, Matt/kiwi59 for getting up at 5-fucking-30 to take me to the airport - and was picked up by Shannon/plaghs..
We hung out and caught up, did some geeking out on some of his techno toys and played with the dogs. That evening, Jeff/bearinslc texted me about the Bear Coffee so Shannon dropped me off on the way to work. i was a little early, so i hung out inside and read the paper...typical coffee shop behavior. What i didn't know was that everyone was congregating outside around the corner. At about quarter after, i look up and see Ray/profkampf in line to get a drink. He wasn't even in town for the run, just happened to be swinging through on his marathon x-country summer tour and is heading out today. But i got a chance to catch up with him a little bit as well as rootbear1, Jeff & Jamie/reslbear, John A/perkk, Richard/Bear/bigbrute_usa and finally got to meet rooooo who is cuter in person than his woofy userpic would suggest, though i didn't get a picture of him...yet. Of course, the worst thing imaginable happened. That's right, i left my camera in Shannon's truck when he dropped me off!!!! AAAAARRRRGGHH!!! i was naked...and not in a good way. Thus, you're stuck with iPhone pics which aren't too bad, really, though you need plenty of light. But i won't be making THAT mistake again. It's gonna be a fun weekend!!
