Back Where i Belong

OUr team got into the office yesterday morning and tore into our tasks with abandon. But what was our objective? To get the system running once and for all? To get good data in there for the start of system testing on Monday morning? HELL NO! The objective was to un-ass that office at 10am and get to SFO to catch early flights home. And we did it!! There was some battling at the ticket counter with tickets and all. i was all nice and got on the standby for the 12:30 flight. Had i taken my original flight at 4:30, i wouldn't hit STL until midnight, just like last time. When i got to the gate, the flight was full save for one seat in first class that was checked in but hadn't shown up. It was 11:55 and there was one lady waiting for an upgrade. As i walked up, the gate agent was explaining that she had to wait until 12:10 to give her the seat in first class which would free up one and only one seat in coach. "And that seat would be MINE!", i exclaimed. They both looked at me. "Um...i'm number one on your standby list." AH, they nodded understandingly. i ran and got a sandwich and sure enough, 12:10 came, Mr First Class never showed up, she got his seat and i got hers. i promised to give her regards to her husband and two kids back in steerage who gave her the upgrade coupons for Mother's Day. The flight was fine, my sandwich was good, i had magazines and the bTalk podcast to keep me amused. The movie, "The Bucket List" with Jack Nicholson and Morgan Freeman was stupid and we've seen it all before: rich, self-absorbed white guy meets magical negro who shows him the true meaning of life. YAWN! No matter, we landed fine and by 7pm CST i was back where i belong.

"Please get me on the plane..." at the ticket counter.
There are spies everywhere...your job: FIND THEM! You'll recall the spy in this shot. Well, there's another one here. Can you find this modern day Mata Hari?

i couldn't help myself. P'Funk's "Aqua Boogie" came up on the iPod. Who can resist the funk??
