Ask woofer #9: "Dad and boy"
The ever-inquisitive blachubear asked (among other things):
"I know you're a boy at heart but if you find another leather boy that need your guidance, would you become his Daddy Bear or just show him the ropes?"
You may have thought this wasn't a good question, but it's actually very pertinent. You wouldn't believe how many guys i've "reported to" who look in my toy bag and say "what's this for?" or wind up thinking, "OK, so I've got this guy all tied up...what do i do with him now?" It's not easy to find a good Top or Dom or Sir or Daddy or whatever. And after Dadbear died over two years ago, i know i'll never find another with whom i'll have the same level of trust and devotion with. But we're all brothers and i am all for helping my little brothers out by answering questions and even demonstrating some things so i wind up being in the dominant position quite often and i'm happy to "show them the ropes". However to be a Dad, that is a great responsibility, and one that i would take very seriously. And it would take a very special boy to convince me to take on that responsibility. Once i have found that boy, i would love him and cherish him and train him in a manner that would make my Dadbear proud of His boy and honor his memory the same way that Dadbear trained His boy.
EDIT: From the comments i've gotten, i'd like to add that i think being a good boy would make me a good Daddy since i would know what the boy wants and needs and i could make sure that my boy would have his wants and needs met. The old saying applies: "it takes one to know one." Plus, as i get older, maybe it's time to pass along some knoweledge and learn to give as a Dad. But only for a special boy.
