We're buying a house!
Third bid (well, third and a half maybe, depending on how you count that last fiasco) was the charm, thank goodness. It's another Victorian twin. We've got dibs on the right half you mostly see in the picture there -- 5 bedrooms (2 of which are funky dormer rooms on the third floor), 1.5 baths, nice fenced-in yard, and a *gasp* DRIVEWAY! Off-street parking, here we come! And best of all, we get to stay in the borough.
The proposed settlement date isn't until Aug. 20 (although we're going to try to bump that up as much as possible), so we can't *really* rejoice too much just yet. But... YAY!
