Reverse Bang Art

For the Inception reverse bang I had the pleasure of working with beanarie who claimed my original prompt: Just Like Yesterday. She wrote a brilliant Mal/Eames fic that I absolutely loved seeing come together! We worked pretty collaboratively along the way, trading off art for fic snippets which was really fun :D I made additional pieces and even decided to compile a fanmix not only to tie in with the fic, but also to share the songs that I snagged lyrics from for the art.
That being said, hope you like them! Oh, and a shoutout to certecerto who let me use her gif for one of the pieces ♥♥

Eames goes. And Eames comes back. This cycle repeats on a regular basis. Sometimes he tells her where he goes and why, relating tales of places she's either never been or never viewed the way he does. Often, though, he says nothing. She isn't exactly fine with that, but it's still so much more than she ever thought she would have with him that she lets it go.
He closes his eyes and gasps. "Thought we were--aha--keeping things strictly above the belt tonight."
"Change in plan. You have only yourself to blame." She leans over and kisses him. "My big, strong man."
A few seconds later, she realizes that she implied a claim on him. But he hasn't said anything, and her mouth is too busy to take back some thoughtless little tease.
There are things she cannot stand about him. The taste of Earl Grey and tobacco ash on his tongue. The yellow stains in the armpits of his undershirts. His belief that anyone he rings automatically knows that it's him, so he can just jump right into whatever subject prompted the call without preamble. The way he remains fixed in the scratchy midpoint between clean-shaven and bearded. Most of all, she hates what he does to his hair when he goes out in public. The pomade and side-part make him look fastidious and overly particular, like an accountant.
If he were to change any of those things, she wouldn't know what to do with herself.
