I ship A/E as much as the next person but I'll admit that Eames/Mal is something like my guilty pleasure OTP. They're both really interesting characters and although they're an unconventional pairing in terms of canon I love the idea of them meeting or having a history together.

I consider myself extremely lucky that it was beanarie who picked my prompt and weaved it into such a beautiful story. I'm really glad you enjoyed our collab! Thanks so much for your lovely comment :)

Hahah Cobb is just.. really boring when you take Mal out of the equation. I think because you see so much of him and his woes during the movie he becomes slightly less interesting as a character :P

I was lucky enough to get to work with beanarie in beta'ing for a few days; this is the first time I've seen the art, though, and I must say: wonderful job. The color palette adjustments for the whole set are quite svelte (yes, svelte). I especially love the .gif at the end.

Will also be downloading the .zip.
