Ahh....it is so weird to think that I feel so at home in three places right now. Part of me longs for San Luis, part of me wants home and my mom and and dad and still another part of me so badly wants this project to keep going on. It's a really strange strained feeling but I know that God is totally in control in all things. I think that I'm just feeling a little bit weird as I only have about 2 weeks of project left and I just have this strange sense that I'm running out of time when in reality, God has planned the dates of this project long before I ever dreamed of being here this summer. That is comforting. God is so Good!

So things here have been wonderful. Work has definately been difficult as of late but God has been teaching me through it. On Friday I worked from 9 am to 7:30 pm...thats right folks, thats a 10 hour work day in housekeeping. It was insane. Oh well, I only have about 4 days of work left which, like a lot of things here, gives me mixed feelings of joy and sadness too. I'll definately miss the people but the work...eh not so much! Yesterday was so much fun. We did Beach Olympics outreach and it was so incredible. It was so beautiful to see tons of people just sharing and chatting with people on the beach as we played buck-buck, tug of war and yes, the stick game. Jason, Ricky has been such a good disciple of yours because he shared the good news of the stick game with so many people here in Daytona Beach. I did my thang yesterday at the outreach and spun and fell straight into the ocean...in my clothes. It was awesome. After the outreach we went to KFC and WalMart then headed back for skit night. Oh man, can I just say how funny people on summer project are??? It was incredible. After that, we came back to the Cave, which is the appropriate name of the room I'm living in where we danced, made iron on t-shirts and had a grand time. *sigh* I am definately going to love this random life here. I've found so many kindred spirits...it doesn't take much to keep us entertained.

Other cool things are going on too. The last visit with Jessica B. was freaking insane. I go and sit down with her and it's just the 2 of us and she hands me back the Crusade New Testament, like it was a novel she had borrowed, and she was like " yeah um I'm finished with this". So I'm like, " you finished it or you don't want it any more?" "I read it all." Whoa, girlfriend read the entire new testament in 2 weeks. She is so hungry for the Word it's insane. I love this girl. God has got such a grip on her heart, it's so sweet. She wrote me a letter the other day and she was telling me about this group of girls she meets with in the detention center and they do Bible study together! This girl is my joy and the reason that God has me out here this summer. She is so incredibly encouraging. God is awesome!

Emily. Katie. Renee. Hannah. Amy. Teal. These are the girls that make my life so good right now. I love them so much. It's going to be hard for me to leave this place....
