so there i was. at the library. it's fairly quiet....as libraries tend to be (except for the wacky "library without walls", those boffins do anything they want!)...and my stomach started making wierd noises.....
actually....
i might continue on the 'library without walls' theme...
I remember first time I heard about the 'school without walls' (SWW)....for those who dont know, it's a school a lot of troubled kids go to (and some untroubled kids)....and basically if they dont want to turn up, they dont...no-one calls the role, so they only learn if they actually want to learn.....which is great.
When I was a kid I used to think they actually didnt have walls....and it made sense! If the kids are leaving all the time anyway, the doors are going to get used so much they may as well not even bother with walls, so if the kids want to leave they can just take the shortest route possible.
I'm about to start the first pub without walls as well. They just get in the way when you're drunk anyway.
I've actually been thinking about it for a while. I nearly gave the whole 'without walls' concept away after my disasterous 'public toilet without walls' escapade in conjunction with the federal government....they were trying to buy votes.
