As I can't send the real flowers from my garden as a token of the huge thanks I owe to the generous and wonderful
ditch_gospel for an unexpected and undeserved saiyuki (manga series) gift which arrived this morning, I thought I'd post some photos from today for everybody to see. Here are three different views of the garden in general:

WOW, look at those COLORS!!!! *__________*
Aren't they just.....amazing??? And look how intricate and perfect those flowers are with their own unique beauties! :'D
You have an amazing garden, KK....
I could never keep a garden like that myself, but I've always wished I had a tiny little space where I could grow my favorite flowers... Maybe I will, though, who knows? ^^
Oh, a man who cooks is a real gem! XD

Y, the colours of the garden are an artist's lesson - e.g. that the subtlety of colour can be as powerful as the intensity of colour. Every day I notice something that I never saw before - that's amazing! And there is always an example of perfection, as you say, if only for a day. It reminds me of a Chinese saying, "A life spent in pursuit of the perfect plum blossom is not wasted."
Ha ha - yes, the garden is high maintenance! I occasionally cheat and buy in some help to clear up when I need to prune bushes or weed a large area. When the house was built (second half of the 19thC), the household would have included a gardener as well as two or three other workers (cook, maid, horseman). Now, I have to play all these parts! Happily the "horse" is a Honda so there is limited mucking out :=)
Thanks for taking a look here.

I wanted to tell you that my iMac's wallpaper is your BEAUTIFUL yellow rose picture, and I also realized that my laptop, which I also frequently use, still has your bunny wallpaper!! XD
They are both really great, thank you.
By the way, KK, are you friends with Helene (subtlepresence)? She suddenly disappeared from LJ completely (her account deleted), so I've been quite worried. If you know anything, please tell me?
Thanks!
Ohhhh, it's almost 5AM already... I really must sleep. *sigh*

I'm pleased that you and your computers are enjoying the rose and rabbit pictures. It's a happy thought to imagine a screen somewhere (US?) many, many miles away showing the same picture. I must post a photo of my apple tree one day as I've never known it to be quite so weighed down with fruit, even on the lowest branches.
Y, I am friends with subtlepresence - she can't escape me (or Kellie): we have her mobile number :=) She is a lovely person and very loyal to her friends so she won't forget us, even if she needs to withdraw for a while to re-group her forces. And she won't stop being a Gackt fan either, I'm sure.
I hope you didn't need to get up early today... 5am. D'you hear how bad that sounds?!

It would be lovely if you can post pictures from the garden periodically! I can pick my favorites and use them for my wallpaper one after another that way... =^^=
And don't worry, you're on my f-list, so I'll see your posts when you post them. :3
Thanks, KK!!! ;D
No, I was able to sleep until noon...
Yes, I'm bad..... 9_9
I've really been having a hard time focusing on work. =| But I went out with my friends and had fun! I'm charged up now!! (I hope. XD)
