It only took four years and some coaxing from his fiance, but Alex finally visited me at QU. It was nice to see my brother and Juli, and it was great to get free lunch from them :D
Okay, so maybe I enjoyed the free lunch, but it really was nice and enjoyable that they stopped by on their way to the New Haven Ikea for the vases that they're not even sure they want anymore. Thank god I didn't go out to buy them and spend 250 dollars for nothing (possibly).
Poor Remi and Oliver. They get harassed whenever Alex tries to play with them. I gave them some of my dinner to make up for it. It was like a perfectly choreographed Lady and the Tramp moment. Oliver munching away on his end of the noodle. Remi at the other end, nibbling away. And slowly they grew closer and closer....and closer still....
Until Oliver chickened out and dropped the remaining centimeter of pasta before ambling away. I guess the intimacy was too much for his manly pride.
Oh, Oliver, don't you know? You're already licking Remi all over and cuddling him to pieces at night. Might as well go all the way, my furry friend! Friends for life always? Most definitely.
