I posted an entry to this effect, and then unposted it and now I'm posting it again. THINGS:
THE POWER OF THE DALEKS. Is excellent. It usually takes me a while to settle into a recon, but after that it was over so fast! I thought it was really excellent, and its burnination makes me vey sad. I listened to it reading a transcript to follow what was happening, and it's a shame that I couldn't see the cliffhanger of the 4th episode, with lots of Daleks being created and shouting EXTERMINATE on top of each other, that sounded awesome.
SJA. Was excellent. As always. Clyde is adorable and geeky("Hey, Bilbo!") and Maria used such a fantastic trick to distract the Sontaran and Alan had that hilarious moment that was hilarious. I love this show.
COLD. I has it. It is very annoying. And I keep mentioning it all the time, so it's probably annoying you too.
BIG FINISH. I just started a Seven/Ace/Hex audio. Hex is apparently "very good with wallpaper". I'm not sure what he means, but it's adorable.
I miss my brother. Who is on Canada. For over a month now, but it feels like longer.
Saw today bits of Ocean's Eleven and A Good Year, both movies that I love and seen hundreds of times. I do not know how, before reading O11 fic, I never noticed how incredibly gay Rusty is. I also pondered: will I ever get tired of Mamma Mia? And I have to say, it looks like that's a no.
Say: how old is Ace supposed to be in the audios? I'm trying to think, but my brain is a bit sluggish and refusing to cooperate. She's sixteen when she starts traveling with the Doctor, the audios continuity give her time with Benny, Hex, and alone with the Doctor; plus I think the Doctor says that she was on her own for a while? Late twenties by the time Hex joins them? Younger?
