Thursday Morning
I was just thinking I haven't posted in quite some time. So, here I am - posting. Things are going well. I always hate to say that out loud because I'm afraid that as soon as I recognize things going well they'll start going horribly wrong. Anyway, good now :o) We did have a great christmas. I got some cool gifts and a very unexpected christmas bonus from work. That was a pleasant little surprise. New Years Eve was great. We spent a quite night in North Jersey with some of my Monmouth folks. BTW - they all said to say hello to TIMO and they miss you and hope you're well :o)
So, the festivities are over now and I'm back at work. Oh, thats a change for me. I'm working full time at Philly Shakespeare Festival now thru May 21. Truthfully, I'm a little depressed about it for a couple of reasons. First, this place is a cluster fuck and I just hate that. Secondly, I really hate the prospect of being at the same place doing the same thing every day. I loved working part time and then waiting tables a few days a week. It totally broke up my week. But, alas, a steady paycheck and health insurance wooed me - and I've always been a sucker for wooing. It also helps to know that its totally temporary and serves as a means to an end. Yay for temporary full time work!
So, today I am dressed in scruffy clothes because there is some office cleaning to do. Also, the box office computer needs to get set up and made ready for the season so I have to deal with some dusty stuff and clean up some gross mouse droppings. Christ I hate this office. Maybe if Jessica was still here it would be more bearable. But alas, California stole my wonderful co worker away. boo and hiss.
