Yes, I wore the purple for Spirit Day! The only purple thing I own, in fact. These two posts from Dear Coke Talk sum up my thoughts on the day - it's about solidarity, and it's about love vs. hate while using the struggle for gay
rights as its device. I'm really very hopeful for a world where people will stop letting themselves be divided and embittered against their fellows over such trivial things. With each successive generation, there seem to be more and more people letting go of this pointless hatred against their fellow man.
In other news....
I got some new headphones today!
They're an early anniversary gift from Curtis!
They're Sennheiser 202s, and they work like a dream - I'm no audiophile, but they sound great I think. The first thing I listened to was Once Upon A Dream and I was delighted to hear some things I hadn't noticed before - I love that about a good pair of headphones!
I'm debating if I should travel with them or get some earbuds for that!
I'm incredibly sore after yoga yesterday and today, especially in my arms and shoulders, so I think I'll just hobble around the apartment, drink tea and work on some projects...
