While installing My new iPod, I selected "Automatically update my ipod from the library" but now I can't switch it back to "manual!"

How do I de-select that option and manually add and remove songs and playlists from my ipod (video ipod, the new one) using itunes?

I can't find the option on how to rectify this anywhere!!!
