I totally ripped this meme off of kathrynthegr8, and I'm glad I did because it made me feel better about my output this year.

I completed a measly 3 4 fics this year ( (and overall, it's better than I thought...) )

I got a lovely email the other day letting me know that Foreign Country has been nominated in the sshg_awards for Best Angst and Best Dark Fic. Thank you so much to those of you who nominated it (although as usual I suspect another epidemic of head wounds).

And of course, congratulations goes out to those of you who were also nominated! I'm in good company.

Because I'm a sheep and following the flock with my tiny sheep brain and whatnot, but also because I'm just as guilty of wanting to win awards as everyone else, I present to you my HG/SS fics for the sshg_awards nomination period.

I confess. I wrote fluff for the sshg_exchange. Yes, fluff. Let's all just get on with our lives and pretend that it was a dark!fic that went incognito as a fluffy, roadtrip romance fic.

(But I also had fun writing outside the box. And getting the Snape and Hermione in America plot bunny off my back. I might do it again. One day.)
