So I am still balls deep in my APTL training. Only like 2 more weeks though! Yesterday I was 'External Apprehension' certified! Which is a fancy way of saying: now if you steal from me I can take your ass down a peg. I was only in training for 2 days! My trainer said I have incredible floor surveilance despite only having 2 days worth of training. He said I have close to the best technique he has ever seen. How cool is that? Spying on people is apparently my forte! Woot!
Now all I have to do is master the rest of my duties.
Is anyone else sick of all the political commercials? God damn, I am about to vote for myself here in a minute.
I think I am slipping back into alcoholism too. I am not really that uspet either. Once I start getting my increased pay I think I can truly embrace my love of alcohol.
I think I'm slipping back into it due to the higher level of stress I've been under lately. That's no excuse really, I also enjoy getting fucked up and just letting go. Maybe it's the people I surround myself with? Lately my choice of companions hasn't been up to my old standards. I think that might also have something to do with me wanting to feel better about myself and also wanting to have more fun.
I really need to get to an Obscured show. I'm really upset that I missed their last show, which is partly my fault and partly situational.
I have just been all sorts of fucked up lately. I've even started to listen to country on some trips back from work. I don't know why either. Maybe it reminds me of home? Or maybe I just need a style of music that I can relate to? All country seems pretty down and out and I think that's how I've been lately. Oh well.
Anyhew, this coming weekend is Alma College Homecoming! Yay for seeing old friends! And seeing friends I see every Wednesday! I also get to work in the yard at my parents house! I love working outside and on my feet. Such a rewarding feeling to start a project and then get shit done. Especially when it's cutting down trees! (Just kidding Heather!!!)
Ok I'm off to put back some more beers. Catch you on the flip side!
