Career Endeavers
So, in reading Missy's journal I realized that I had completely forgotten to inform you all of my big news! I was recently promoted to Assets Protection Team Leader at the Target store in Hartland Township (Howell). What's more they don't have an Executive Team Leader for Assets Protection so I will be an APTL acting as ETL-AP.
Have I lost anyone with all the abbreviations?
Key reasons why this rocks:
1) No more uniform. Red and Khaki all the way!
2) Running AP at my own store and reporting to the 'high-ups'!
3) I still get to use handcuffs!
4) I get to take people down for stealing now!
5) It come with an 82% pay increase!
6) See example 5!!!
7) I am now officially making more than I did at Doner!!
Reasons why this isn't as good as it could be:
1) Missy is still making more than me. grr.
2) My commute, while better, is still kinda shitty.
3) All of the other ETL-APs in the district will be watching me like a hawk. since this is a brand new position to the district.
4) I have already been informed that I am the 'new guy' now (by my old boss) and that I am stuck taking notes on conference calls. bastards.
I think that is all I've got. Oh! Missy and I will be moving to Farmington Hills soon so if anyone is a glutton for pain and enjoys helping others move their crap from city to city let me know!
Or if you like beer, liquor and pizza after helping people move their crap from city to city that option is also available.
On a side note, if anyone knows a cure for only sleeping every other night let me know. This is getting old quick. Thanks!
