Final of Life on mars US what the fuck happened there? I didn't understand that ending and I still don't understand why they made the US version in the first place.

I feel like crying. UK version had the one of best endings of TV shows  and US the worst.

Could someone tell me what the ending was because I'm too stupid to understand.

I was watching the first episode from Demons. Did I like it? Weeellll there was leather gloves and Philip Glenister.
