taxes done!
Yay! And I got a small (<$10) refund from my Colorado state taxes. I owed Uncle Sam <$100, so it's a good year. Well, I don't owe a lot, which is good, but I didn't make much $, which sucks. I just don't know why they can't just take the right amount out in the first place so we don't have all this drama every year.
I'm afraid to say anything to jinx it, but i've been sleeping ok for the last few days. it's much better. ok, i'll shut up about that, don't want to get too excited just to have it taken away from me.
Gosh I don't really want to do my work anymore. It's really hard to stay motivated when you stop caring. I guess I care about finishing. I want to get my PhD, but I want it to go a quickly as possible but with not too crazy amount of working. Is that possible? Doubt it. I guess it could be worse, I could be out of a job. I'm actually worried now even about finding a teaching job. State budgets are down so they have to fire teachers at a lot of places.
