Focus
I saw the first movie of the year tonight - Focus. It was in the "big" cinema. Unfortunately there was only me and two cinema people (on their night off) in it. I really need more friends to see movies with.
I like heist movies and I love caper movies. This is not so much of a heist movie, it is a bit of a caper movie, without the caper. Certainly a con movie.
I haven't quite figured out my opinion on it yet. It was good, but about halfway through, radically changes direction. The foreshadowing in one or two scenes is blatent and you are just waiting for certain situations to reappear. Hard to say things about it, because it is suppose to have twists.
If you like movies like that, go see it, you'll certainly love the first half and then hang around for the ending too, just to see if you can figure it out.
