Is It Safe?

Perhaps Marathon Man is not the healthiest of images to be conjuring with whilst having four of my teeth extracted but the thought still unavoidably came into my mind as I watched the dentist jabbing a variety of screwdrivers and pliers into my mouth. Unlike the beleagured Dustin Hoffman though I did at least have suitable quantities of anaesthetic ( Read more... )

I am glad to hear that the tooth sockets are healing up reasonably and that you're doing okay. I really think medical people should do their best not to wear or surround you with reflective items when doing unspeakable things to your person. It really isn't comforting in my experience to see what they are doing even though you can't feel it much.
Hopefully next week's experience will be okay, fingers crossed for you.

I've felt a bit disconnected from people this week, I'm blaming a lack of sleep, mainly. Difficult to care sometimes about everyone else when all you want to do is be unconscious somewhere safe.

Hope you have fun with Guild wars and TV this weekend x

Hm, well this morning I managed to cause myself a little bit of extra bleeding whilst carefully trying to brush my remaining fangs. That seems to have left me unfortunately extra anxious and on edge today, despite no real additional pains or noticeable signs of greater damage, so hopefully it is just my nerves making things worse than they are as usual. Is a weird thing, being extra jumpy and any slightly unusual little twinge, but by and large things do seem ok and hopefully may continue to be until Tuesday ( ... )

hope the bleeding has stopped now and that you are ready for the next lot. Do you have to have a plate or is there a different way of having false fangs? Hope it's not too uncomfortable anyway and it's good that you don't have to pay for it. Dentists are expensive in my experience.

The dancing at Wembley was a bit strange wasn't it? Sudden camera angle changes and over the top bits and bobs, still I look forward to Kylie and feel reasonably confident that Dani and Vincent are safe, not so sure about Louis and Flavia, but then they did a weird dance, didn't they?

Hope you're warm enough and can eat reasonable food. No badgers on the way back from the caravan last time then? Take care x

Yes, the bleeding really only lasted a few moments, the extra jumpy nerves however lasted until the evening. Oh well, I seem relatively comfortable for now at least and as ready for my next session as I'll ever be. Indeed, I shall have a plate with my false fangs attached, dentist man said it may take some time to get used to so it will then be a little while before work begins again on my bottom teeth. Hopefully I shall manage though and I won't get a job in the meantime! On present prices it would be £209 otherwise. Ah well, I seem largely ok for the moment and eatings isn't too awkward. Hopefully I shall be ok anyways, and maybe even at some point my brains will learn not to make me feel far worse about it than I really need but I don't suppose I can really expect miracles. :P ( ... )
