Well...I have no idea where to start really. Heh.
Had a TON of errands to do this week before the job started, bank issues, lab issues and the likes. No problemo though, everything is good as far as I know.
Went to work today, woke up at 5 AM, no biggy. Enjoyed work, except for the fact that it makes my hands and arms hurt like everything. Get over that soon though. I'm making the small motors for Repiratonix (something like that, haven't actually SEEN the word anywhere), which are basically sleep apnea/mechanical lung machines. I work with a bunch of crazy people.
Anne: In her 40ish-50ish, already tried setting me up with her son until Daniel Wade came along and talked to me. Apparently she thinks me and him are an item.
Shelby: Soooo reminds me of an older chipper, Courtney Ballard. gah I miss her.
Hilda: *blinks* I dunno...seems nice but she's mean lookin...
Linda: AKA the Banshee, whenever she gets tired or the conversation lulls she lets out a whoop! Me and the muses freaked needless to say and I about drilled another hole into the motor cap...baaaaad.
Cathy: Very helpfull, puts up with Linda well.
Shannon: Kept helping me out and told me I was doing a good job...but slow down...she was getting swamped.
Martha: Line leader, very helpful as well, nice elderly lady, lets us all joke around and goof off a bit.
Angel O.: hyper black woman, everybody's mother, she told me to run for the door...lol.
And there are so many other random people that I can't remember their names right now. Hurting to type really, think I have some stubbed fingers...
It's fun-ish, as fun as factory work can be. Today I put in O-rings in the motor caps, technical, but I'm damn good at it. I also put the three screws in to attach the motor caps to the motor, hence my arm hurting a bit, but tis ok. Get used to it, I promise.
And...well...can't think of anything else really. I'm alive. Thomas hasn't bugged me. Apparently I'll have a lot of dates with co-workers' sons...
I have to get up at 4 AM from now on to get to work at 5 for OVERTIME! Still get off at 3:30, cept Fri. when I get off at 2:30. I'll also be working some Sats, including this Sat, unfortunately. Don't know how long or anything yet though.
