So last time I posted, I was freaking out about my impending static trapeze performance. Well, I did it! Okay, it wasn't perfect, and I basically skipped the entire ending. But I smiled! And I got up in front of a bunch of people in a LEOTARD! And I wasn't scared. I had fun! I was so sure I would be furious with myself if I messed up, but I just didn't care. It was fine. And I was absolutely floored by all the compliments I got. I'm just really proud of myself. :) I am so grateful to foreverseenstar , athena2483 , clarkdreams , nyrclooch , _mendon , jadziadaxwb , and Susan for making it to the show. Even one of my new coworkers came all the way from CT to see me! Also, my incredible friends took video. And Deanna took beautiful pictures. So, here you go:

Mostly I have endless gratitude for Jon. He is an incredible teacher and coach, with amazing patience and a real gift for knowing his students. I am so thankful to him for not only believing in me, but making me believe in myself. He has made me so much stronger, and this would have been impossible without him and his support.
Oh yeah, and he managed to catch both my my split and straddle out of lines. :)
So yeah, it was a really wonderful night. I'm so happy with it. :) Now I don't have to worry about a show until like the fall at some point which is pretty nice. But yeah, I'm happy to focus on this tonight because right now I just need to try to focus on all the good wonderful things, and stop second guessing everything and getting wrapped up in evil thoughts in my head. It's not as easy as it looks. As, firynze would call them, brainweasels, and they have been loud and obnoxious lately. Haha. Okay, going to catch up on TV and cuddle with my cat who is none to happy with me right now, until I fall asleep. Later, skaterz.
