Sister, you've got it all.
OMG I AM SO TIRED I THINK I COULD SLEEP FOR A WEEK. This weekend was EXHAUSTING (albeit totally worth it). I had the most fantastic time in NYC for athena2483's birthday. Despite missing our train due to the horrible rain, valpy, clarkdreams and I managed to make it to the city in time to get all dolled up (or even more dolled up in the case of me and clarkdreams who had already spent the morning at the spa) and give athena2483 her presents. I am in love with how excited she was about the scrapbook! I have basically spent half of my free time in the past 3 months working on it, and I'm pleased with how it came out, so I'm glad she adores it. (Maybe now I can finish a scrapbook for myself...?) Buddakan was even more fabulous than last time. For those of you who have seen the Sex & The City movie, this is where they all go out the night before Big & Carrie's wedding. We were actually sitting at the same table! (I like to pretend I was sitting in the same seat as SJP...) The food was spectacular and the wine kept coming. :) The company was pretty good, too... in addition to athena2483, I got to see Johanna and Lauren, and wyldegrey was able to make it down! I finally got to meet the infamous Mike (who definitely exceeded the very high expectations I'd set after all the praise I'd been hearing), and firynze (who looks nothing like I pictured her, but has the fiercest red hair I've ever seen), and Kristina's friend Horace (who loves Firefly! and knew who Will Robinson was! and also couldn't get into BSG! and has a lovely Aussie accent). And as if Buddakan wasn't fabulous enough we went to Park for drinks and dancing. Park is FANTASTIC. I really am not a huge fan of clubs at all but I fell in love with this one. The atmosphere was incredible. But seriously, the most important thing about the whole night was that we all looked gorgeous and totally hot. Just kidding, the most important thing was that athena2483 had the time of her life, which I definitely think she did.

Yeah, all those are already on facebook, but until I get mine uploaded that's all you get. Though I think mine are mostly pictures of peoples boobs.
We didn't get back from NYC until 4:30AM, and had some creepy dude on the train talking to us about his daft-punk yanni Idon'tknowwtfhewastalkingabout music that's going to be REALLY BIG in 18 months, so no sleep on the train. I left for Boston at 8:45AM the next morning and that was PAINFUL. I literally almost passed out around 3PM. I was wiped out.
Today I am pretty much the walking dead. Tomorrow I will probably be a cripple. Hey, my doctor said I had to work on strengthening my back for my back pain to go away, and I think I definitely managed that! Okay, time to leave work!! Later, skaterz.
