Maybe I do have a soul after all!
So you would totally not believe how long it took me to make this work! I tried to make a daemon on my computer using Firefox, IE, Safari, updating my flash, clearing out my cache. NOTHING WORKED. I tried it on IE at work, and it still didn't work. So newer and older versions of IE still couldn't get this to work. So I was at jadziadaxwb and _mendon's house, and we were talking about His Dark Materials and daemons and I told her my predicament and how no matter what I did, right after it would give me my daemon's name it would freeze before it showed me what animal it was. jadziadaxwb suggested that I try on her computer, and upon completing the quiz we waited in anticipation only for it to FREEZE! I waited for _mendon to finish taking the quiz and he was placed with a raven daemon. So we figured, for sure it will work if I use his computer since he just managed to make it work. NO DICE! It totally froze on me AGAIN! So frakkin' spooky! Finally I just told jadziadaxwb my answers and she put them in for me and I got this:
Don't ask me how someone is modest, humble, and proud all at the same time. But play with it and let me know what you think! I totally need to read this series. Maybe I'll start them once I'm done with The Cell by Stephen King.
In other exciting news... I got an A in A&PI! \o/ This brings my total undergrad GPA after 153 credits (oy!) to 2.93. If I can get an A (not an A-) in my next 3 classes I can bring my overall GPA up to a 3.0. I really hope I can do it, but after the information session for the MbEIN program at UConn that I went to on Wednesday, it sounds like grades aren't as important as you might think. It makes sense really, when you consider it, because really everyone HAS to get above a B in all the science class so that alone puts everyone on an even playing field. He said there's a bigger emphasis on your letter of intent and your references, so I'll have to make sure I turn up good ones. Apparently, too, we can apply now, so I'm going to try to get that done by the end of the month. Added it to the to-do list. Which I swear I am going to make tons of progress on... tomorrow. PS - I know the season finales have started, but I'm just gonna do one big post for all of them I think after the last one, which for me will be Lost on Wednesday.
