Really I'm not!
Everything went fine with the move, and things are going okay with the new job. I've just been fairly busy and not very talkative.
Klondike got out from the house in KC due to a roommate (not Todd, but Willie)'s complete and utter incompetence and drunkenness. He finally returned 10 days later but sadly never recovered from his escapades with the elements. I had to have him put down a few weeks ago, and being in St Louis and not in Kansas City (and not even able to SEE him) made it the worst and hardest decision I've ever had to make in my life. I'm slowly getting better from it - I won't ever be "over" it, but each day it hurts a little less. I do still miss him terribly.
This coming Thursday I'll get to see my family in Wisconsin, which is good, so I'm looking forward to that. I've been butt-ass (yes, that's a real term, look it up, I dare you) broke due to the move so unfortunately my X-Mas holiday gift giving is nil until after the 1st. People are gonna have to wait until January...but it does give me a bit more time to shop once I get some funds in the bank account and everything. The move took a decent amount of money, so I have to save back up.
