Underway!!
Got to the Chieftain two days ago. Beautiful ship, friendly crew (a shocker), good cooking, beautiful scenery. We've been working hard the last couple of days, and we're currently transiting the Sacramento River (I'm updating thanks to the ship's wireless internet subscription- works anywhere a cellphone does). I'll upload some pictures the next time I get regular wireless on shore (the ships computer doesn't have a card reader). All the comforts of home...
We cross under the Golden Gate Bridge tomorrow and out into the open sea. It'll be my first time on the ocean in a tall ship, and my first time in Pacific waters.
I can't wait.
