I are at work.
It is early.
I is tired.
Home time soon....well, less than 3 hours away anyways. I am going to sleep so well when I get home.
Been doing computer based training courses all night. Thankfully not too boring. ^___^ Sadly its a web based java thingy, and it keeps freezing and hanging and dying. :P At least it saves my place fairly regularly, so I don't lose too much of my process.

My car has died. It's overheating badly, and it's going to cost more than I'm willing to pay to get it repaired and serviced. The estimate is up to a grand so far for repairs and servicing. He didn't finish checking the car to find out what else was wrong with it, because he figured I may not want to bother getting it done. He was right. It's a 20 year old car, and it's time. I am probably going to donate it to the firefighters so they can cut it open with the jaws of life. Rather a cool way to go really. ^___^
So now it's new car time. :P Ahh well, I knew it was coming.

I have started making jewellery to sell online. I am making miniatures out of plasticiene and embedding them in resin to make pendants and earrings and the like.
So far I have made in miniature, a:
*red telephone (one of the old fashioned dial ones, with the big handpiece)
*green apple with stem and leaf
*pair of 5 scoop icecream earrings (The flavours featured are - vanilla, banana, rainbow (2 scoops! Yum), mint choc chip, blueberry swirl, orange sorbet, vanilla choc chip and strawberry... plus one of the scoops is actually a squid who's decided that an icecream cone is the perfect place to hang out. It's way cute!)
*pink rose
They have all been exceedingly fun to make, and I will definitely post photos when I am on my days off. I think I am going to become quickly addicted to making things in miniature. If people have requests that they would like to commission let me know. ^__^ I'm still working out pricing, but I'll keep you informed. Also, if people don't want to purchase, but would love to see me make something fun and weird, I also accept requests for what people would like me to make.
I am starting up an Etsy store to start with, as I want to really start getting my art out there, and get it happening.

I am off shift and back on days as of next Tuesday. I manage to both love and loathe shift work at the same time. The work is cruisy and the vibe is AWESOME. Unfortunately the hours are killer, and I always seem to undercut my sleep trying to fit in everything else I want to do. Then I feel wiped all the time, and if I'm not careful I get sick.
