Yuletide reveal
Happy 2011 to everyone!
I want to talk about 2010 and what the year brought to me, but first, Yuletide.
I only wrote the one story (and that was an accomplishment considering most of the time I had to write I was scheduled for six am shifts at work which just totally killed the creativity of this night owl).
I wrote Night Work, a Nightrunner fic for
dea_liberty. My recepient seemed to like it, which to me is the only thing that I need to make it feel like a success so I'm happy with it, though in an ideal world I would have had more time and less early mornings and so been able to follow Seregil and Alec for more than just one night.
This is the second year in a row that I've written Nightrunner. I do offer other fandoms as well, I swear, but this is the one that I just keep matching on. Not that I mind; I love Seregil and Alec and their world and love writing in it.
The story written for me was a Vorkorsigan series fic, light from a lonely window by Molly, which was Miles/Gregor and had me clapping my hands in glee when I read it. She captured all of the characters so well, especially Miles (I love me some well written Miles, I do). It's awesome and you should all go read it and tell her so.
