Played Civilization today. Yay
We played Advanced Civilization today and had much fun. It's a wargame that isn't a wargame where diplomacy gets you better than aggression. It's only usually about twelve hours long. You can read more about it here.
We originally had six possibly seven people but due to various cancellations, we were down to four. While it's possible to play with four people, it's no where near as fun. I tried calling a variety of people but no one was available. But elfric knew someone that would be willing to play an all day game on a moments notice and we had five. It's better with more but five works. We stopped with only one turn remaining since everyone was tired. This is not an uncommon occurrence with a game this long. We're hoping to do this again in April. I want to check out more about Advanced Civilization: The Expansion Project before then.
