So I've got till next Friday to secure something. Got into another arguement with the boss today, when he told me that I wasn't going to be taking next Saturday off, and I told him that I was for my brothers wedding. So I'm going to be turning in my key next Friday, apparently he had forgotten the deal we had made anyway, that or chose to ignore it

Yeah, Lucas is still at Regional, which is where he's trying to get me on. Unfortunitaly with a house payment, two car payments, and two kids, we don't have a grand to spend on the classes. So it looks like I'm going to have to go under contract for a year or two in order to get the training. Of course I can always look at switching to 911 service after my contract was up anyway. I think I would like the 24/48 but I've got to go with what I can get for now. And all this is just hoping that I can get on there anyway, I'm still waiting to hear anything.
I really want a freakin' job that not only will I enjoy, but will give decent pay, and that I can be proud of at the end of the day. That's why I'd like to be an EMT, I think it would accomplish all those things.

Looks like if I get on, I'm going to have to at least start at Regional because we just don't have the funds to pay for the classes. Then I can always look to get a transfer to 911 after my time obligatory time is up with them. Of course this is providing I even get on there. I still haven't heard anything back yet.
Of course, with both me and my wife working, a 19k a year job for only a year or two won't hurt us too badly. I just won't have a ton of spare cash to play with. But since I've never really had a bunch of money anyway, I'm kind of used to it by now.
