So I've got till next Friday to secure something. Got into another arguement with the boss today, when he told me that I wasn't going to be taking next Saturday off, and I told him that I was for my brothers wedding. So I'm going to be turning in my key next Friday, apparently he had forgotten the deal we had made anyway, that or chose to ignore it. I figure in worst case scenario, I can always go through a temp agency for short while.
There are a couple of jobs I'm really hoping for. One of them pays a bit more and will be a desk job in Franklin, similiar in ways to my old Dell job. The other would be an EMT, which starts out with lower pay as I'd be a driver for the first twelve months, but they pay for my training and after the year, my pay would go up a heck of alot. I'm really hoping to get one of these two positions, but I'd be happy to hear back from just about anyone now. I really wish I had taken the Verizon job when it was offered to me, they had put down all their promises on paper, and I would be doing alot better financially right now.
But hey, at least I can say that I have a roof over my head, and that my kids aren't going hungry. Things could be worse.
