Well, I haven't been able to check in until just now, my trip has been rather...eventful, but I wanted to stop in and at least wish everyone a Happy Christmas. It seems that my owl has finally died, so I didn't even get to send holiday wishes to my closest friends, so Sirius, Peter, James and Lily, I hope that this Christmas saw you well. I hope you got the gifts I sent with the owl I borrowed from the post office. My Christmas was...fine.
I hope everyone else I've met on here had a wonderful holiday, and got everything they wanted.
It's a beautiful night tonight. No moon at all, and I'm out in the middle of nowhere, so the stars are absolutely brilliant. I wish I had a few of my astronomy books with me, there are some stars out tonight that I don't think I've ever seen before.
I'm not sure exactly what country I'm in at this point, but there are quite a few people here wearing very interesting hats. I, of course, procured one for myself. Observe:
