I had an insanely good weekend.  It was *killer* good in so many ways.  Let me sum up:

So, last night, my theory teacher was involved in an informal concert (which I was required to attend... keep that in mind for later).  He plays bass guitar.  And he plays it really well.  He's got a 6 string bass, and he just may be the most talented bassist I have ever seen or heard of.  Think: most talented guitarist as far as solos, and then ( Read more... )

I want to strangle my car, but it doesn't have a neck.  Gah.

It's been doing its stupid 'acting up by not idling properly' routine.  As in, everytime it is *supposed* to idle (as in, everytime I'm stopped and am not pressing on the gas pedal), the engine dies instead.  And then usually the next morning, it's FINE and no mechanic in the world can ( Read more... )
