News:
So I am officially, utterly, and entirely engaged to Cortney. Ring on her finger, general season of next year set aside for the wedding (though not yet a specific date), the works.
On the one hand, it isn't as though it hadn't been a long time coming already. On the other, it is still a little strange to think of it like that.
In significantly less exciting news, (though also good news, and perhaps important later), I've learned how to slap pizza dough after the Domino's manner. Means I can actually make pizzas with the provided materials, from start to finish (even to the extent of proofing the dough, prepping the toppings, cooking the pizza, cutting it, etc.).
O yes, and I have two huge canker sores and a split lip. Any one of them hurt like crazy. Together, it's really lame. Especially smiling, talking too much, or getting bumped in the mouth (even lightly). Also, I was sure to accidentally chew on one of them about 4 times in the last few days, to the point of making it bleed at times. *UG*
Anyway, that's how it's been. O yes, also had a really busy day during rush today, but otherwise pretty normal. And another really, really busy day last Saturday. I don't know where exactly those bursts of business come from, but sometimes I wish we'd have more warning.
