Well, Christmas eve. I'm over at my parents' tonight. Dad's passed out, go figure. It's something that I've gotten used to because he's generally sober for a few days before Thanksgiving, then goes off the wagon and drinks nonstop until March. Tried to get online tonight and found that Dad had (after nearly 3 months of threatening) cancelled our AOL accounts. This is a blessing overall, but a little warning would have been nice, as I had to scramble tonight to find my old Earthlink CD and sign on for 45 days free until I get broadband, which apparently has become a higher priority. Today has been one roller coaster of a day! Whew! It started out this morning kinda bad because dad was...well, he was being his normal self, which always annoys me.
