Today was one of those days I wish I didn't have to work. I just felt like crud all day. Aching joints and my eyes were burning all day too. Icky!
In other news, I went and looked at an apartment today. The Creekside apartments are located on Cherry Creek South, just east of Cherry Creek. For $575/mo for a one-bedroom, it wasn't bad. It's definitely worth considering. What worried me, however, was the three deadbolts on the door of their model. Makes a person wonder...
Not to worry, I'm still looking around. Hopefully tomorrow I can get off a little early and go to Roxxy's complex and see what it's like there. Hopefully either this week or this weekend, Candace and I will do an Herbs and Arts/Fashionation run so I can look at apartments over there. If anyone has any ideas to go about telling the parents, suggestions are more than welcome, as the last time I brought this up was what spurned them kicking me out in the first place.
I need to bitch and moan about a co-worker, though. There's this one chick who works by me. I cannot stand her! She thinks I'm her personal slave and that I have to drop everything and do the work that she can't do. And it's stupid work, like taping receipts to a piece of paper and going down the stairs to drop off a fed-ex package. She talks on the phone all day with friends, takes off early, and doesn't show up on some days. She demands to see the paperwork I send out before it gets sent (which is extremely dev-T...developed traffic: not needed, causing more work). And what's funny is the only reason she wants to see it is to see where her name is on the credits for that episode (and let me tell you, boy did we all hear about it when she saw my name above hers...a 2 year-old can't throw fits this well)
Anyway, what caused this rant is the fact that she did it again today, with piling her work she didn't want to do on me when I had my own stuff to worry about, as my intern didn't show up (see previous day's post about interns...grrr). I figured I'm safe ranting about her on this rather than growling at her in the office.
Just got a call from Wally...he's not feeling well either. He thinks he's coming down with a cold. Man, I hope I don't get it.
