Going...to...explode!

Wow, I ate a lot! Ah well. Thanksgiving was really fun. I met my parents at a friend of the family's house that we always get together with on Thanksgiving. Originally, it was only going to be my mom, dad, me, and the mom, dad, and one of their sons from the Riedmuller's side. Instead, it turned out that EVERYONE showed up! My friend, Kim, showed up with her husband and their two kids and then Eric showed up with his wife and their three kids. Talk about a circus!!! It was great, though, becuase I hadn't seen Kim since her wedding in April and I hadn't seen their new baby. Coltan was a sweetheart and really talkative (well, as much as a 4 month old can be...). I found out that Kim lives only 10 miles East of me, so we're going to hang out at her house on Sat morning and go riding (between her and her husband, they've got 6 horses). I haven't been riding since I stopped working at the petting zoo. So the dinner was a lot of fun, and the best part was I made a green bean casserole and DIDN'T BURN IT!!! (I know, some of you are probably having heart attacks right now...sorry, should have warned you).

Tomorrow morning, I head off to WY for the day to record some stuff with Terry and try to get this band thing figured out. If we play this right, we could be doing gigs just in time for St. Patty's. (Heh...of course, that's all I need, MORE places to be for St. Patties...as if dancing in the parade and all the Denver pubs aren't enough!)

So now I'm at home, reflecting on how time has passed. It was a trip to see Kim's kids playing with the same toys as we used to play with and just seeing a whole new generation kinda repeating what we used to do as kids on Thanksgiving. (Heh...should I ever get famous, there's wonderful blackmail video of me probably around 4 years old, jumping on Kim's bed and my tights keep falling down...ah memories)

So it's a little belated, but Happy Thanksgiving to All!

holidays, band, feelings
